**It does, but there are condoms and safe days and morning after pills and so on. Birth control is still a thing, and if you want to make it more permanent just schedule an appointment with your Officio Venenum

**Answer is: Not that often, but there's always an uptick in incidence when the recruitment period comes in. Newly-contracted magical girls get curious and try new things. It got so bad that the Venenum had to give out pamphlets for it. Magical Girls and hormones, man [http://ask.fm/Deculture/answer/125498306228]

*How does a magical girl perceive the inside of her soulgem when confined to it (either by body destruction or otherwise)? Is it a surreal dreamscape, or does the MG consciousness go into a catatonic state?

**I've always seen it as something of the Magical Girl just falling into a dark, dreamless sleep whenever they get their body destroyed (akin to being comatose, or when Space Marines trigger their sus-an membrane to preserve their minds and body when they get too damaged). But if they sleep for too long, they may have a chance of waking up in that sensory-deprived state - which could cause a Witch Out. To address that, Officios have trained their Magical Girls to either prolong the sleep as much as they can, or go into a 'lucid dreaming' state - where they force themselves to dream of things they like doing, in order to stave off Soul Gem corruption. That's what Kyoko is doing now, most likely. [http://ask.fm/Deculture/answer/125320959412]

*How ludicrous can golden weapons get? For instance, could the warmaster of the 16th have a golden Metal Gear?
 +
**Hahaha! Well, mostly they're weapons to be held and used. Unfortunately there are no golden weapon 'vehicles'. [http://ask.fm/Deculture/answer/121204121780]

*For people who use Golden Weapons and are corrupted by them: do only normals turn into weird monsters like Kilgore did, or does anyone who goes full Flesh of Fallen Angels go monstrous? What about original Golden Weapon owners?
 +
**It all depends on how much you 'depend' on the Golden Weapon. It turns everyone who uses it into a monster, but in different ways, and in different speeds/extents. Think of its corrupting influence like Chaos. But normals will be turned much more quickly, yes, unless they've got extraordinary resolve (and even then it'll still be quick, only slightly delayed). Original Golden Weapon owners will also turn, but in a way that idealizes them to the use of the Golden Weapon. [http://ask.fm/Deculture/answer/120814951860]

*Are there Golden Weapons that don't have past users in them yet, then? Does the weapon itself have a personality, or are they basically just lumps of really nice metal at first? Or did Pinky give them all out to people who she knew would be corrupted by them quickly?
 +
**Yes, there are Golden Weapons that are 'empty'. But generally the 'Chosen' are the ones that will get corrupted really fast. [http://ask.fm/Deculture/answer/120545285044]

*Are the Golden Weapons inherently evil? Or are they more based on the user, aside from the corruption?
 +
**They're based mainly on the user. They're not inherently evil, but they do carry the past user's spirit, and thus could be influenced by them. [http://ask.fm/Deculture/answer/120542789300]

*Regarding regenerating limbs and such; does using a Golden Weapon increase the chance of not being able to regenerate? Also, did Kyoko lose her eye to Kirika's claws or the katana?
 +
**Yes, Golden Weapons have that kind of ability where they can cause permanent wounds that just won't regenerate. Kyoko lost her eye to a magic-enhanced katana, but it wasn't the golden katana itself. [http://ask.fm/Deculture/answer/119941273780]

**"Do you think I'm twelve? Look, alright, I know it's cool and badass but there's a reason it looks like a hardcore biker outfit. The combination of leather, padding and studs offer the highest amount of both protection and flexibility that a Culexus needs in her day-to-day. The magnetic hardpoints at the back and wrists and legs, along with the multitude of pockets all over, allow for a maximum amount of on-suit storage for tools and equipment without having to rely on your inventory. The helmet, again, not only gives the Culexus protection against projectiles and bladed weapons - or blunt force trauma in case you're up against someone stupid - but also grants them an up-to-date HUD display with visual filters ranging from night vision to infrared and echolocation. Add everything up and you've got a Culexus who won't die on the first day of field duty, much less turn to ash if she suddenly panics and loses focus."

Questions from Ask.fm

  • How many bottles of the 13ths patented Funtime Futa Formula™ Does Mami have? What about Kharn?
    • Kharn used to be Nakajima's best customer. Mami has her own subscription. [1]

  • Can the Futa Formula cause pregnancies? Or would there need to be more research into it?
    • It does, but there are condoms and safe days and morning after pills and so on. Birth control is still a thing, and if you want to make it more permanent just schedule an appointment with your Officio Venenum
    • Nakajima Pharmaceuticals is funded by Weyland-Yutani, jet fuel can't melt steel beam [2]

  • How often do the Venenum have to surgically remove soul gems that end up "going in too deep"
    • God dammit anon
    • Answer is: Not that often, but there's always an uptick in incidence when the recruitment period comes in. Newly-contracted magical girls get curious and try new things. It got so bad that the Venenum had to give out pamphlets for it. Magical Girls and hormones, man [3]

  • How does a magical girl perceive the inside of her soulgem when confined to it (either by body destruction or otherwise)? Is it a surreal dreamscape, or does the MG consciousness go into a catatonic state?
    • I've always seen it as something of the Magical Girl just falling into a dark, dreamless sleep whenever they get their body destroyed (akin to being comatose, or when Space Marines trigger their sus-an membrane to preserve their minds and body when they get too damaged). [4]

  • Can a girl who has made the transition switch between various Ironforms; like different Light variants? Can they have a new flesh body regenerated for them?
    • I think that's possible! As for the flesh body regenerated, it's also possible but I think in Fourth culture that's absolutely haram [5]

  • How ludicrous can golden weapons get? For instance, could the warmaster of the 16th have a golden Metal Gear?
    • Hahaha! Well, mostly they're weapons to be held and used. Unfortunately there are no golden weapon 'vehicles'. [6]

  • For people who use Golden Weapons and are corrupted by them: do only normals turn into weird monsters like Kilgore did, or does anyone who goes full Flesh of Fallen Angels go monstrous? What about original Golden Weapon owners?
    • It all depends on how much you 'depend' on the Golden Weapon. [7]

  • Are there Golden Weapons that don't have past users in them yet, then? Does the weapon itself have a personality, or are they basically just lumps of really nice metal at first? Or did Pinky give them all out to people who she knew would be corrupted by them quickly?
    • Yes, there are Golden Weapons that are 'empty'. But generally the 'Chosen' are the ones that will get corrupted really fast. [8]

  • Are the Golden Weapons inherently evil? Or are they more based on the user, aside from the corruption?
    • They're based mainly on the user. They're not inherently evil, but they do carry the past user's spirit, and thus could be influenced by them. [9]

  • Regarding regenerating limbs and such; does using a Golden Weapon increase the chance of not being able to regenerate? Also, did Kyoko lose her eye to Kirika's claws or the katana?
    • Yes, Golden Weapons have that kind of ability where they can cause permanent wounds that just won't regenerate. Kyoko lost her eye to a magic-enhanced katana, but it wasn't the golden katana itself. [10]

  • What about a golden weapon that didn't have a past user?
  • They'd just tempt the user into doing things that they've always wanted to do, but always stopped themselves from doing. [11]

    • Is Skulltaker or Gorefather and Gorechild considered Kharn's iconic weapon?
    • Skulltaker is more iconic, but after she got the chainaxes they became her signature, yes. [12]
