    • I've mentioned it a few times that the black eyes that manifest on gold weapon users involve not just the iris and pupil but also the sclera. So everything's black.[2]

  • You mentioned in your twitter that the MGs are aged-up for this particular iteration of the Megucaverse. Does this mean that the cast has been doing the Magical Girl bit for 4-7 years, or did they merely accept contracts later on? Also: how as the world responded to the sudden presence of large mercenary organizations that command hundreds of super-human girls?[3]
    • The latter. And most of the world are paid to shut up or get mindwiped. Plus the girls move very covertly, never in large groups. [4]

  • Why did some people (canonically Yuma, but there is also the narrator of Deliverance) consider Murderface to be the warmaster’s “pet”? It’s because she doesn’t talk, isn’t it?
    • That and because Kharn doted on Murderface quite a bit. [15]


  • Yuma was often compared unfavorably to Malal (which I doubt was good for her self-esteem). That said, she was told that even Malal (without assistance) couldn’t have used Cavefish as an expendable power source like Yuma presumably did. What things could Yuma do that Malal couldn’t?
    • Yuma basically had the Culexus equivalent of power vampirism, where she can utilize someone's magical energy and use it alongside her own. She can also do it passively if she's in a large group or unit, taking just a little bit from each member in the group, so it's kind of like a force multiplier.
    • Besides that, Yuma also developed the ability to completely make herself disappear in a magical girl's radar. Callidus, Vindicare or even other Culexus wouldn't be able to detect her. It's more of an Anti-Officio Espionage kind of deal, so it doesn't work with Witches.[16]


  • How come Sayaka has scars if she has world class regeneration? Were they made when her regeneration was worse or something?
    • Some wounds, if inflicted with enough HATE and Magical Girl Energy, still leave scars no matter what you do. You can ask your Incubator for a full regeneration to remove everything and start anew, but that's also starting over from scratch, you'll have to train your body again. Sayaka has never asked for anything like that.[17]


  • In MGNQ, does Kyuubey’s madness have a name (e.g. “Human personality disorder”)? When this affliction start? IIRC he’s stated (or implied) the condition has escalated over time.
    • It started around a few years into him managing his own officio because he's really one of the few to be really hands-on when it came to managing his girls. There's no official name for it but that's a good name! [18]


  • What things did Murderface do for fun? Because during MAXIMUM CHRISTMAS it almost seemed that the way she spent her recreation time was watching already dry paint continue to be dry (I assume she was actually thinking). And of course Murderface was alone instead of with someone tolerable.
    • Yes, you got it. She spent a lot of time by herself thinking, trying to piece together the patchwork memories she half-remembers every now and then. It's a lot for her to figure out. But as for fun activities she usually just read books or helped maintain the Officio's armory. Until she got to drinking of course! [19]

    • No, they're not magnetic![20]


  • Which Stooge if any, could fix Chiaki’s eyes so she didn’t need glasses? Would Chiaki be willing to have her eyes fixed (and then maybe wear non-prescription glasses)? Considering she has wings now, glasses (or flight goggles) might be useful to avoid getting bugs in her eyes at supersonic speeds.
    • I think any of the stooges can do it easily. The question is if Chiaki is willing to have them fixed. It's always been my belief that she never got them really fixed because she wants to have a link to how she was back then, even if it's something detrimental to her performance.[21]


  • Does Vintage have any special powers as a result of being a Maerorus? Is the bird one of her familiars?
    • Vintage's Maerorus ability is "Beasts' Lair", which allows her to summon 666 shadow-beasts (familiars) from her own shadow. The bird, Reggie, is her most powerful familiar. [22]


  • Why does Pinky have such a huge girlboner for Chiaki when Goddoka friendzoned Homura hard and showed no romantic interest in girls?
    • Very little difference between hate and love when you start mixing insanity into it, Anon. [23]
  • What powers this timeline Homu has? So far, we have seen thatshe posses a golden shield that emits an all-consuming light, and I assume she can time-stop also. Anything new apart from that that Chiaki doesn't have?
    • She can fathom the reason why kids love Cinnamon Toast Crunch.
    • Even if she shouldn't be able to, because cinnamon is totally disgusting. [24]

    • She does, but not to the extent that Wendy is, because Wendy has been grinding that skill for a long time (i.e. sleeping) [37]


  • Could you tell us the metods and some examples of how Nicole and Malal pre-contract defeated sparklies? It's something that I always wanted to know, considering how difficult it has to be for a normal Cheating.
    • Shaped charges. Getting crazy good with a gun and basically anything to smack a Soul Gem to dust with. Taking advantage of the fact that Magical Girls are still girls - just a lot of mean things that Nicole or Malal are particularly proud about, but they had to do them to survive.
    • Malal also had a really strong intuition that bordered on precognition even when she wasn't contracted. It gave her nightmares and migraines constantly if she abused it. [38]

    • Like I revealed in Sayaka Quest, she had a really weak and bullied personality growing up - it took Kaneda a long time to get her out of her shell and start standing up for herself. She realized slowly and painfully that she's not going to get anywhere simply being passive and fearful - so she took all that frustration and anger from being bullied all the time and turned it into a self-sustaining drive of motivation. Unfortunately that ticks over to being a bitch, but Kyoko has done a lot to help her dial it back a bit when it's not needed as much. [58]
  • Decu, just out of curiosity: who is the husband of the Warmaster of the 6th Officio? It is Big Boss, like some anons think? And continuing, who are their childs? Are they Solid and Liquid Snake, or are totally unrelated in MGNQ? To remind you, you have stated that Solid is alive, but Otacon is not
    • It's Big Boss, yes. He's a fit, grizzled veteran that used to lead a really killer PMC that is still competing with Magical Girls. His last target was Leman Russ, but unfortunately love bloomed on the battlefield, which resulted in sextuplets and Big Boss having a bum lower back that gets achy in the cold weather. [59]


  • So if Chiaki Matsuda isn't this timeline's Homura, why do the fragments act like she is?
    • Because she's the anomaly. She's the Nameless One. She's the one outside of the chain of failures, and the one who can bring all this to a crashing halt. At the same time they don't really know if she's going to turn. [60]

    • Warmaster Kharn usually smelled faintly of kerosene, and used citrus-scented shampoo. Now she smells mostly of apples.

  • Given Chiaki's popularity in the 9th, are there any MGs who have attempted to mimic her mannerisms or clothing styles? Were there any trends started by Chiaki?
    • Some Magical Girls tried out the cigarettes, whiskey and painkillers thing, but found that smelling like a spit-encrusted ashtray in some hole-in-the-wall bar on the wrong side of town wasn't all it was cracked up to be.

Snipping each part off a sprue, checking the instructions regularly, and then carefully sanding off the flash. She'd keep each one in a locked drawer in her desk.
    • Malal: Godzilla/kaijuu vinyls, I think she's one of those kids who absolutely loved the idea of huge monsters wrecking cities but ultimately are good guys. Probably gets a bit snobbish about the hobby too, and will beat up anyone who says they're just rubbery chew toys for dogs. Absolutely gets finicky with tags.
    • Kharn: Schleich dog statuettes/figurines. Animals hate Kharn, and dogs just go berserk when she's around, but she really wants one. She probably collects the small figurines (1:18 scale) and has names for every one of them.
    • Kumatora: Gimmick Kamen Rider figures, because she likes how simple and affordable they are yet they show off what's 'cool' and special about the hero of the season. She also probably collects the DX Sentai mechs even if they're just bricks.

    • Kharn's greatest weakness is that she's still the same scared girl she was before Varrigan and she knows it. Her greatest strength comes from knowing that and willingly burying it with the personality she has now, in order to become the apex predator she is. [228]

If, for example, she had to deal with the Seventeenth, despite them suddenly having a distinct dislike of her (something she couldn't really figure out), she'd deal with them politely, directly, without any nonsense about tea parties or cuddling or hugs. There would be no need to, because they're fine on their own and expect efficiency instead.
    • Mami is savvy enough to know which approach goes best with who. Maybe there are a few who do honestly treat her with hostility or distrust, and while she'd like to change that relationship, she's also savvy enough to take a step back and say 'Alright, if you'd rather deal with another representative of my Officio, then I'll have someone sent over'. And that would be that. She'd probably feel sad or glum about it, but in the end she just tries to be decent to everyone. Which is the point. [315]
