Nothing ever gets done on the irc, so let's bring it up this way.
There's a problem with the Concepts category. It has a ton of stuff, and less than half of it is on the sidebar.
So if you are a casual outsider that doesn't stalk the activity stream, pretty much everything that's not on the sidebar can only be accessed by you clicking the category:concepts down below (which you aren't very likely to do), following a link to it from elsewhere, or specifically searching it up.
1) Create a retardedly long sidebar by putting all this stuff on it. 2) Force links into other pages to make sure everything is linked from a few places and curiosity will lead you to the page with the specifics and definitions. 3) Take out what is on the sidebar and already in the category, replace with a simple link to the category. Give it an attractive name that is not "Concepts". Neaten the category page up so it doesn't look like crap.
I am in favor of 3). Of course, Kiri or Hat have to do this when we decide what to do, if we do want to do something about it.
Also, the other topic is pretty damn out of date.
