Character History

Enyo Karasawa is the second child in a family of four daughters, a branch family of the famous Karasawa line. Her parents and siblings are unhappy with her choice of enlisting in the Second Officio, much less about joining the Black Templars. While she is disowned, she still loves her family and worries about her sisters.

She lost her right arm in an accident that made it impossible to recover, even with magic. It was replaced with a mechanical one afterward.

Malal Flashback

Five years ago, Enyo received a challenge fr a duel to the death. As The Blessed Lady's Champion of the Black Templars, she is duty bound to accept and heads to Varrigan City. On the way to her destination, she is attacked by a local gang, both herself and her motorcycle taking considerable damage, causing an automated distress signal.

On Redline highway she is saved by a Culexus riding a huge white bike who quickly passes the bikers and their armed vehicle and offers her a ride only seconds before Enyo's own bike explodes. With the bikers catching up, she releases a bunch of grenades, to the surprise of her passenger who starts praying to the First Knight, and ignites a booster that accelerates them to an insane speed.

At a gas station in Asian Town, the Culexus passes Enyo a can of beer and asks about her bike. She tells her savior about “Stranger” and how it was her first bike, put together by her own hands. While Enyo usually doesn't drink, she makes an exception for the memory of Stranger, crying over her loss.

After composing herself, Enyo thanks the Culexus for saving her, stating that where she comes from they usually don't ask for help and that her bike was set to automatically send a distress call. She proceeds to introduce herself and offers her assistance should it ever be needed. The other girl recognizes the famous family name, but Enyo explains that she is only from a branch family before asking for her savior's name.

The Culexus introduces herself as Malal and Enyo concludes from her accent that she hails from the Ninth Officio, surprised to hear her know she is from the Second herself. Malal mentions that the accent and speech give it away and Enyo admits that er casual clothes are not enough to hide her home.

She explains that she was challenged to Sanguis Extremis, a duel to the death, and cannot refuse despite the possibility of a trap. Malal asks about the challenger, but Enyo refuses to reveal the identity but assures that she has a way out of the dangerous city afterward despite losing her bike and the Culexus offers her assistance again just in case.

They continue talking for a while, about her family and how she lost her arm, but after mentioning the accident that led to the loss of her limb Enyo grows quiet. When Malal's bike is refueled, she drops Enyo off close to where she is supposed to meet a messenger for her duel and the Champion promises to do whatever she can to pay off the debt before parting ways.

Enyo is later seen fighting in the Blood God's Arena, facing Nicole Touchdown who holds off the Black Templar's chainsaw arm with a cleaver. Both of them seem to be on equal footing and Malal, unbeknownst to the combatants, expects that they will wear each other out before anyone can die.

Neco Profile

*ROOKIE*
NAME: Karasawa Enyo
"…What do you wish of me?”
OFFICIO: Second, in the United Kingdom
RANK: Knight of the Black Templars, Blessed Lady’s Champion
BIO: A former motorcycle punk scouted for the Black Templars of the Second, Karasawa Enyo is an honorable girl that abides by her own strong set of principles. She’s a natural fit for the Black Templars, mixing a sort of eerie brutality with a totally rigid and occasionally incomprehensible moral code. She’s also a pretty skilled mechanic, and does her own bike and…arm…maintenance. That has to hurt, or something.
WEAPONRY: A heavy-duty chainsaw arm.

TRIVIA
-Enyo is the second of five children, younger than Vintage but older than Enishi, Noriko, and Ryota. She only gets along with Noriko, though…The rest won’t even talk about her.

-Apparently she’s developed a friendly rivalry with another Templar that enlisted at around the same time, Raleigh Alondight, the Chariot of the First Knight. Who comes up with these titles…?

-She still has some heavy tattooing from her gang days. That’s pretty popular in magical girl crowds…I guess there just aren’t any any more Pr*tty C*res out there.
