Ruri hires the Ninth Officio Assassinorum for protection during her four day stay in Mitakihara, specifically requesting the presence of the Warmaster “to have a good time”. Her schedule includes a big concert and a four day date that can be won through lottery.
Without informing the Warmaster, Ruri rigs the event to ensure the Warmaster wins, instructing an assistant to give her the right ticket in front of her hotel. Additionally, Ruri did not inform her other security detail about hiring a magical girl as an additional guard.
While waiting for Chiaki to arrive, Ruri practices the script of “Miracle Midori x Murder Mayumi Deluxe Uncensored OVA Episode 1 of 20 / SEASON 1” with Iori Minase, which includes a sex scene. Shortly after the climax part, Noriko opens the door and Chiaki enters. Ruri greets her cheerfully and tells her to greet the people watching her webcast, gesturing to the camera Sayaka is holding up.
As Chiaki grumbles and moves out of the shot, sitting down next to her companion, Ruri tells the viewers that she seems to be camera shy but assures that they will see more of her and Sayaka in the coming days and at the concert. She then continues the script into a very heated scene until somebody knocks at the door.
Room service serves breakfast for four, western food and an extra stack of pancakes for Chiaki. Ruri tells Sayaka that while she is curious about the anime the idols are practicing for, the project is still a secret, winking at the camera. She also introduces Chiaki as the best murder Mayumi cosplayer there is, mentioning that she will perform on stage with her and Sayaka.
She asks how Chiaki worked on looking just like the violently lewd magical girl, smiling innocently, who replies that it comes as second nature to her, growling to get the camera out of her face before she shoots it. Noriko shakes at this, but Ruri holds her in place while looking directly into the camera, complimenting Chiaki's dedication to the viewers and announcing a break.
She lets out a sigh and asks Noriko about her performance, who replies that she was very green. She then asks her assistant to take Iori and Sayaka next door so she can speak to the Warmaster in private, adding that she will decide how long her assistant will be put into the box later. Sayaka complains that she is not finished eating, but Ruri coolly asks her again, and Iori manages to make her comply.
While the others move out, Ruri unpacks a large piece of luggage and begins skillfully assembling a huge sniper rifle that has the words Love Story engraved and a green ribbon tied to the scope. She apologizes for the mess, mentioning that Noriko works so slow that she needs to do most unpacking herself and wonders why Chiaki is not eating her pancakes.
Pushing the place aside, Chiaki tells her that she gave the ticket away and that there is no need to punish Noriko for it. Ruri grins, explaining that she did not expect the legendary Murderface to simply bow down and accept being pushed around by a spoiled brat with too much money.
Chiaki asks why she went through with this, wondering if Ruri wants to seduce her, piss her off, or do both, seeing how she is supposedly hired as security detail. The idol looks offended for a bit, but then smiles again, realizing that Chiaki really doesn't know why she was hired. She starts to sing a song, about a girl that simply wanted to be liked by a boy and had no idea she would be fighting monsters until her death and only wants to feel the warmth of an embrace beforehand.
She explains that she sings about magical girls and wants to know more about the most notorious magical girl there is. She rigged the contest to see how Chiaki would react, get under her skin to see how she ticks. She wants to write a song about her, the magical girl who fights like she has nothing to lose yet walks as if she's got the entire world on her shoulders.
As for the rifle, Ruri explains that she always takes this family heirloom with her and cleans it to calm herself down, showing Chiaki that the magazine is empty. Touching the ribbon, she explains that it is also her good luck charm.
When Chiaki asks about Iori, Ruri assures that while it may look like she wants to get to Chiaki, they chose Iori out of a pool of voice actors for her skill and vocal range matching the idea of Murder Mayumi when their first choice turned them down. As for the “good time” mentioned in the contract, Ruri assures that she just wants to have fun and get to know Chiaki, not ruining her career by getting romantically involved with a magical girl.
Regarding the things she told Iori, Ruri explains that while she looks like a massive bitch for it, she wanted to help them by making Iori tone her almost unhealthy infatuation down the only way she could think of. Caressing the rifle with a sad expression, she tells Chiaki that she doesn't mind Iori hating her as long as she understands that falling in love with a magical girl is the worst thing an idol can do. Chiaki asks how Ruri knows about magical girls in the first place, and the idol turns away, whispering that she fell in love with one.
She also explains that Iori nearly threw up from the trauma when they were passing this room, so she decided to show her that it was remodeled and is not the same room anymore as a sign of how she should not dwell on past events and that those responsible are gone.
She mentions watching the video of the event that was uploaded by the camera automatically, shivering slightly at the memory of how brutal and chilling it was. Surprised that Chiaki didn't know, Ruri shows her the video on her phone, mentioning that it was deleted quickly after release, but saved by a handful of people who saw the recording in the first few minutes after the upload.
Ruri bought the license to the video and had it blocked everywhere to prevent Iori from accidentally seeing it again. Chiaki admits that she seems to be not so bad, but Ruri cheekily presses against her and claims that the sneaky, scheming idol she is could turn on her any time and Chiaki would be helpless. The Warmaster pushes her off and tells her that she can play around to an extent, but should refrain from tricking her like earlier.
Chiaki then starts surveying the hotel suite and Ruri continues unpacking. While Chiaki checks under the furniture, Ruri asks what became of the magical girl whose knees Chiaki shot off. She replies by explaining that standard procedure has captives locked up and interrogated to either be released or disposed off afterwards.
Ruri mentions that the way Chiaki talks like she doesn't care about these things is scary, but also exciting. Chiaki then explains that the last part of the procedures was taken care of by her boss and that she only knows the girl is alive somewhere and most likely not taking a job like this again. Ruri mentions that this resolution is convenient, but is willing to believe it, mentioning that it would be weird if Chiaki ended up falling in love with that magical girl instead.
Chiaki steps out of the bathroom, finished with her inspection, and holds a pair of panties up, breaking the idol's pace for the first time by mentioning the thriving market for used underwear. Wondering how she could have left it on the sink, Ruri realizes that Noriko was tasked with the laundry and must be responsible, deciding to put her into the box for an entire night.
Chiaki tells her to give Noriko a break, and Ruri mentions that while she tries her best to be nice, sometimes she just has to tease the awkward girl, pointing out that she has the air of a Masochist about her. Ruri explains that the box is just whatever huge box she can find and Noriko has to stay inside for a while without light and that she shakes the box when Noriko falls asleep.
Before they can talk about anything more, the door opens and a group of men enter the room, led by a particularly sharp looking one. He politely greets Ruri and thanks her for choosing Mitakihara as the final stop of her world tour, mentioning how their economy will benefit from it. Ruri reacts furiously to his presence, demanding to know how the men got past security when they were not supposed to be in the same building as her.
The leader explains that he convinced them he was only there for a very short meeting and mentions that Ruri surely knows why he came. Without letting him finish, Ruri snarls that she will not sign his contract to switch into the Tojo group no matter the price since she knows what happens to idols after signing up and shouts at him to get out.
While Ruri takes a transceiver to call security to her suite, Chiaki moves in between her and the Yakuza group and politely asks them to leave, placing a hand on her shield. The leader tells her to back off, but quickly realizes what he is dealing with. He chuckles and asks if a magical girl escort is necessary, to which Ruri replies that it is indeed warranted if these guys can easily get in, telling Chiaki to shoot their kneecaps if anyone makes sudden movements.
The leader assures that this will not be necessary, apologizes that he had to meet Chiaki this way and asks for her name and Officio. She shakes her head and reminds him that his business here is over, stepping forward. The Yakuza step back and their leader compliments Ruri's guard choice, reverently offering a calling card to Chiaki. He explains that the Tojo group respects the work of magical girls and makes to take his leave, reminding Ruri that she can call him whenever she changes her mind.
While the Yakuza leave, Noriko and Sayaka return, the men nearly bumping into them. They shove their way past the girls and Noriko keeps the camera aimed at them. Once they are gone, Ruri grabs a paper bag to breathe into to calm her nerves. Noriko explains that the Yakuza were tailing them ever since they arrived in Japan and Ruri adds that they believe some of their own production firm is working with the Yakuza.
She tells Chiaki that another reason for hiring her is to find out who compromised the security to hand them over to the proper authorities. Chiaki offers to deal with this by getting the entire staff in a room with her for five minutes with those responsible leaving in body bags, but Ruri tells her that this is not how justice works. Chiaki settles for calling the security chief instead and sends Noriko to get him. Meanwhile Ruri fights down the panic attack caused by the sudden appearance of the Yakuza, locking herself in the bathroom.
A while later Chiaki knocks on the door. Ruri has calmed down and styled herself to be just as fresh as before. Chiaki explains that the Yakuza got in with magical girl support, but Ruri claims that she will be fine as long as she has her around.
After a line of questions from Chiaki, Ruri makes to explain them in order. The panic attacks happen occasionally when things like the Yakuza suddenly turn up, a side effect of her stressful job. Regarding the Tojo group, she explains that they are trying to get into more legitimate revenues and created their own production company, attracting idols with lucrative deals. Those idols would be popular fr a while before getting married and disappearing, some of them turning up dead soon after.
The 24 hour webcast is in fact not full 24 hours, but the concert will be broadcast in full. As for how Ruri managed to contract the Warmaster personally, her producer apparently promised Kyubey a cut of the concert profits.
Chiaki assumes that she will not be part of the singing and dancing performance, but Ruri wants her to perform as Murder Mayumi on stage, mentioning that lip synching will take care of covering her rough voice. She then goes through the itinerary for the day and tells Chiaki that she can take her on a date in the evening, who shoots her down right away.
Then Noriko enters, camera held up, and reminds Ruri that they have to be online in two minutes. She pats Noriko's head in thanks and tells her to take better care of her hair, wondering where Sayaka went. While Noriko holds up a mirror for Ruri to check her makeup, she explains that the blue haired girl went to get some air and will be back soon.
Noriko then readies the camera and counts down, when it goes live again Ruri drags Chiaki and the returned Sayaka into the frame, talking about how they are best friends. Chiaki pushes her off and walks out of the camera's view while growling, her natural reaction just like Murder Mayumi, earning squealing praise from the idol.
During the course of the day, Ruri attends events to build up hype for the upcoming concert, one of them being a swimsuit photo shoot at the local community pool. She tries to talk Chiaki and Sayaka into participating, but only the blue haired girl eventually agreed. Impressed with her body and performance, Ruri later drags her off to the changing rooms in Mitakihara stadium, set on including her in the show.
After practice, she sits on a chair with an iced coffee while the other idols line up to bid her farewell. She compliments Sayaka for her endurance and dancing talent, offering to take her in as an idol. Chiaki reminds her that their boss would object, but Ruri thinks him a business oriented sort who would benefit from having Sayaka work with her for a bit.
She hugs Sayaka, has Noriko take photos, and moves to her changing room to take a shower, inviting the Eversor to join with a suggestive sway of her hips. While in the bath, she sends Noriko to fetch Sayaka, mentioning that she should join before the rose petals start to sink.
Ruri takes a long time to take care of her hair after Sayaka already finished. Once done, she joins the blue haired girl and Chiaki back outside the changing room. The idol asks about their conversation, surprising the magical girls with her good hearing that picked up on the topic being her shaved body parts.
Ruri also caught Sayaka staring during their bath, but assures that she knows about her an Kyoko and would never do anything to break the fragile love between magical girls. On the way back to the hotel, she gives them a long explanation on how to achieve perfect smoothness.
Back in her suite, Ruri relaxes on the comfortable bed and tells Chiaki to get changed for the night. The magical girl replies that she is on guard duty and not supposed to sleep, but Ruri claims that Kyosuke and his men are there to keep watch so that she can have fun with Chiaki.
The Warmaster refuse, telling her that not getting in bed with the client is one of the first things Vindicare are taught. Ruri protests, claiming that even magical girls need sleep before figuring out that Chiaki assumed she was asking her to have sex and bursts out laughing.
With a serious tone, void of her usual cheerfulness, she wonders if Chiaki really thought of her as the kind of person who seduces others with wealth and fame simply because she can. She explains that she worded the job request to be taken the wrong way for fun and apologizes for pushing the act too far.
Ruri tells Chiaki about another magical girl she hired previously who, just like her, was overly serious and refused to sleep while on the job. Ruri found her crying over her brother before she eventually had to be replaced and was retired a few weeks after that.
The idol explains that she honestly wants Chiaki to enjoy herself on this job since she never knows when she can take a break again. She tells Chiaki to just take a shower, sleep next to her without any implications, or even just sleep on the couch as long as she gets some rest.
Happy that the magical girl agrees, Ruri hands her a set of purple silk pajamas and changes into a slightly transparent night gown while Chiaki showers. As Chiaki returns, Ruri compliments her look and asks where she will sleep. Chiaki tells her that she will not sleep at all and explains to the disappointed idol that she will do her work properly, reminding her of what happened the last time she fell asleep on the job.
With a cold voice Ruri admits defeat and lets the Ninth Warmaster watch over her helpless sleeping form for the night. Placing a blindfold over her eyes, she reminds Chiaki that she still owes her a date and insists on having it before her mission ends.
The next morning, Ruri wakes up in peak condition, but annoyed by Chiaki's insistence to keep the hotel locked down until the concert. After lunch time, Chiaki calls for a final security meeting and gathers everyone in Ruri's suite. Chiaki will remain at Ruri's side and take down anyone who gets too close. The idol thinks this extreme, but Kyosuke assures that when somebody gets past his men, they should assume it a threat. Ruri agrees and tells Chiaki and Sayaka to beat down anyone from the Tojo group.
In mid meeting, Chiaki uses her time stop ability, scaring accidentally Noriko. Ruri grasps her arm and inspects the shield in rapt worship, amazed by the design and function of the device Murder Mayumi's “Murder Genocider Cutter” is based on. Chiaki warns her to be careful, agreeing to Ruri's mention of possibly spawning chain saw teeth and cut off her arm to make the idol back off.
While the others conclude the meeting, Ruri gets back to choosing outfits for the concert, where Sayaka joins her soon. Chiaki approaches and Ruri thanks her for letting her in on the meeting, mentioning that Kyosuke never allowed her to be present so that she doesn't need to worry. The idol claims that being informed is better since she will not be confused when something happens and also knows that she is getting the protection she paid for.
Chiaki agrees to her point and promises not to let her get harmed, to which the idol replies with a blush, claiming that her words make her heart beat faster and wondering if this is how Miracle Midori feels. She admits that reading the series is not enough to really get the feeling right and complains about being unable to see the original author, explaining that Green Green is really elusive and neither private investigators nor Kyubey came up with anything. She wants to tell her how important her work is and shouts at Chiaki for calling it just lesbian pornography.
Ruri then tells her that she knows what to do and will just follow her and Sayaka's instructions without asking stupid questions. Before leaving her to her business, Chiaki asks about the singing in one voice thing mentioned earlier, to which Ruri replies that they will all sing the same song and that there will be nothing weird going on like the magical girl seems to be thinking.
